Conducts regular inspection of the workplace to identify potential hazards. 2. Train employees about safety protocols and the importance of health and safety3. Ensure that the workplace complies with health and safety regulations. 4. ·Investigate accidents that occur in the workplace and outside work place environment. 5. Develop safety plans for the workplace that include company standards and government regulations. 6. Address and correct unsafe conditions or actions in the workplace. 7. Prepare reports on safety issues.8. ·Ensure full compliance to Site standard requirement, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirement.9. Supporting the development of OHS policies and programs.10. Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives.11. ·Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy to lives, 12. properties/system..13. Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.14. ·Supporting emergency preparedness and response efforts, including developing evacuation plans and procedures.15. Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with external organizations, such as government bodies, and safety organizations.18. Monitor contractors compliance to Company permit to work process.19. Ensure compliance to EHS requirement for project site. Requirements1. 1 HND/B.Sc in a related field with minimum of 2nd Class 2. 2 Minimum of 10 years cognate experience in similar role3.
