Location: LagosJob Type: Full-timeJob Field: Data Science / Research / Analytics About the RoleIpsos is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to support data quality, sample management, analysis, and reporting for its retail and consumer audit products. The role involves working with production and field teams to improve data quality and interpret market trends. Key Responsibilities* Manage data and sample quality for retail and consumer audits.* Support sample design and maintenance.* Estimate market universes for existing and new countries using internal and external data.* Review and sign off on data quality.* Track and report key performance indicators.* Analyze data trends and market dynamics.* Prepare presentations and insights for internal teams and clients.* Train client service teams on audit methodologies and capabilities.* Train field teams on audit procedures and store-type identification.* Work with clients, suppliers, production, and field teams. Requirements* Good interpersonal and people-management skills.* Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.* Excellent Excel skills, including PivotTables.* Ability to learn and use other software packages.* Strong programming skills in SQL or SAS.
