Job Summary

Location: Agbara, Ogun State

Salary: ₦450,000 – ₦550,000

 

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Plant Human Resources Officer to oversee the day-to-day HR operations at our manufacturing plant in Agbara. The successful candidate will serve as the primary HR representative on-site, providing operational HR support to plant leadership while reporting functionally to the Head of Human Resources at the Head Office.


Key Responsibilities
1. Manage end-to-end payroll administration and ensure timely and accurate salary processing.
2. Oversee employee relations matters, including grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
3. Monitor employee attendance, leave administration, and time management processes.
4. Coordinate and support the performance management process for plant employees.
5. Drive operational training initiatives, including training coordination, records management, and compliance.
6. Provide HR advisory and administrative support to plant leadership and employees.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies, labour laws, and HR best practices.
8. Prepare and maintain HR reports, employee records, and other HR documentation.
9. Support recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and other HR initiatives as required.

 

Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 3–4 years' HR generalist experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong knowledge of payroll administration, employee relations, performance management, and labour legislation.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
6. Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
