Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Medical Credentialing Specialist to support U.S.-based healthcare providers remotely from Nigeria. The role involves managing provider enrollment, verifying licensure and credentials, coordinating with insurance payers, and maintaining accurate, compliant documentation throughout the credentialing lifecycle.

Responsibilities
› Manage the end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing process for healthcare providers
› Complete and maintain CAQH profiles and provider enrollment applications
› Verify National Provider Identifier (NPI), state licenses, and DEA registrations
› Coordinate with insurance/payer organizations on enrollment and follow-up
› Track expiration dates and ensure timely renewal of credentials
› Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in credentialing databases and Excel trackers
› Communicate with providers and payers to resolve outstanding documentation issues
› Ensure all processes comply with HIPAA and relevant privacy regulations

Qualifications
• B.Sc./HND in Health Information Management, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field.
Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare privacy requirements
• Prior experience in U.S. healthcare credentialing, provider enrollment, or medical administration is preferred.
› Strong documentation, data entry, and Excel skills
• Excellent spoken and written English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working remotely and independently across U.S. time-zone requirements.
