Job Summary
The Manager, Coverage Associate is responsible for driving the institutional sales function by managing client/investor relationships and overseeing the distribution of capital market instruments and transaction offerings to institutional clients, including pension funds, asset managers, insurance companies, trustees, and corporates.

 

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers across various investor groups such as Fund Managers, Trustees, Insurers, and Corporates.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and international investors (private capital investors, venture capital funds, development finance institutions, pension funds, asset managers, and strategic investors) to ensure the success of various transaction types.
• Manage and grow a strong pipeline of institutional investors and HNIs.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and transaction information to clients.
• Coordinate client meetings, roadshows, and follow-ups to ensure effective engagement.
• Provide market intelligence and client feedback to execution teams.
• Support the Managing Director in monitoring project activities and transaction execution on a day-to-day basis.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical sales practices.

 

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7–10 years’ professional experience, with strong experience in institutional sales, relationship management, or business development within financial services (asset management, investment banking, or capital markets preferred).
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, ACS, CFA, or CAIA are an added advantage.
• Must be a SEC Sponsored Individual.
• Proven ability to originate and manage client relationships and drive transaction opportunities.
• Strong relationship management and business development skills.
• Good knowledge of capital markets, the economy, and financial instruments such as bonds, commercial paper, private notes, and equities.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial and market data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
