About the Role

Zitelle Group is seeking a qualified and experienced In-House Legal Counsel to provide legal guidance across business operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage legal risks, and support the organization with contract and employment law matters.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide legal advice on business and operational matters.
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
* Advise management on Nigerian Labour Law and employment-related issues.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks.
* Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
* Conduct legal research and provide practical legal recommendations.
* Liaise with external legal advisers and relevant stakeholders when required.

Requirements

* LL.B degree and Call to the Nigerian Bar (BL).
* Minimum of 4 years' relevant professional experience, preferably as an in-house legal counsel.
* Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law.
* Proven experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
* Excellent communication, analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
* High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
