About Company: Our client is a fast-growing financial service firm located in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Company is seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead the full spectrum of HR and people operations. This role is responsible for shaping the people strategy, building scalable systems, and fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture that aligns with the organization goals and objectives.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving manpower planning, building strong talent pipelines, strengthening employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a forward-looking people strategy and roadmap aligned to business objectives.
Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organization design, and succession frameworks.
Lead recruitment strategy, ensuring efficient, diverse, and high-quality hiring processes.
Design and oversee performance management frameworks, reward systems, and recognition programs.
Drive initiatives that strengthen organizational culture, employee engagement, and wellbeing.
Establish learning and development programs, including leadership and role-based training.
Oversee HR operations, including policies, compliance, and global employment standards.
Implement and optimize HR systems, data, and analytics for better decision-making.
Manage vendor relationships and budgets across HR service providers.
Advise leadership on employee relations and support a fair, transparent work environment.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related Social Science from a reputable institution.
Professional certifications in CIPMN, SPHRi, SHRM, CIPD is required.
3-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a financial services company.
Proven experience building and scaling HR functions in high-growth organizations.
Extensive HR generalist experience, with a focus on performance management, employee relations, and recruitment.
Effective leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skilled in HR analytics, leveraging people metrics to drive informed decision-making.
