Salary Range: ₦500,000 – ₦650,000 monthly
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and systems-driven HR Manager to build and lead the HR infrastructure within a fast-growing private healthcare organization. This role is ideal for a strategic HR professional with strong experience in structured, service-oriented corporate environments who can establish scalable HR systems, drive workforce accountability, and support operational excellence across multiple sites.
This is a build role, not a maintenance role. The successful candidate will serve as the organization’s first dedicated HR infrastructure leader and will be responsible for creating foundational HR structures, systems, and processes that directly support business performance and growth.
Responsibilities:
HR Infrastructure & Systems Development
* Build and implement scalable HR structures, policies, and operational frameworks.
* Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of ZOHO HRIS.
* Train staff and department leaders on HRIS usage and compliance processes.
Workforce Management & Productivity
* Manage and maintain accountability across remote, hybrid, and onsite teams.
* Monitor workforce productivity and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
* Track and improve staff performance, engagement, and operational efficiency.
Performance & Organizational Development
* Design and implement performance management systems and measurable KPIs.
* Establish policies and structures that support a high-performance culture.
* Function as a credible HR authority within a fast-paced clinical environment.
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
* Lead strategic recruitment and workforce planning initiatives.
* Ensure hiring aligns with operational demands and long-term organizational goals.
Compliance & Employee Relations
* Ensure HR compliance with labor regulations, policies, and internal governance standards.
* Manage employee relations matters professionally and proactively.
Cost & Workforce Efficiency Management
* Own and monitor workforce productivity and Cost-Revenue Ratio (CRR) as key business outcomes.
* Identify bloated workforce costs, inefficiencies, or productivity gaps and drive corrective action.
* Partner with leadership to ensure HR decisions positively impact the bottom line.
Requirements:
Non-Negotiable Criteria
* 5–10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a dedicated HR Manager role.
* Strong background within a service-oriented corporate environment such as healthcare, hospitality, or similar white-collar sectors.
* Hands-on experience implementing and managing ZOHO HRIS, including configuration and staff training.
* Experience managing mixed workforce structures (remote, hybrid, and onsite teams).
* Prior experience working with organizations based on Lagos Island is strongly preferred.
Not Suitable For
* Candidates with predominantly manufacturing or blue-collar workforce backgrounds will not be considered.
* Candidates with only end-user familiarity with HRIS systems will not be considered.
