About the Role

SBM Intelligence is seeking a Geopolitical Intelligence Analyst to support research, security intelligence gathering, database management, and the development of high-level intelligence and policy briefs.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage conflict and violent incidents databases.
* Gather and analyse open-source and security intelligence.
* Identify trends and intelligence patterns.
* Prepare clear, well-researched policy and intelligence briefs.
* Develop high-level briefs for diverse clients.
* Use GIS intelligence tools and Google Workspace.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years’ relevant experience.
* Experience in conflict and violent incidents database management.
* Knowledge of open-source intelligence and intelligence analysis.
* Proficiency in GIS intelligence and tools.
* Strong research, writing and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba or other languages is an added advantage.
