Devops Engineer

Job Summary

📍Remote, Lagos

Requirements
●Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
●3 - 5 years professional experience in DevOps
●Containerisation and microservice build and deployment - Docker, Kubernetes
●Proficient with Python and Bash. Able to read, understand, and troubleshoot code in Elixir, PHP, JavaScript, or similar languages alongside developers.
●Experience building reusable Terraform code and modules. ●Experience migrating existing cloud resources into IaC management is a plus.
●Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki, including instrumenting services, building dashboards, and defining alerting rules for logs and metrics.
●Experience with AWS and Azure
●Optimisation of the application for maximum speed and scalability 
●Experience working with Agile teams.
●Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible/Chef/Puppet or similar tools 
●Pride in readable, well-designed/architected, well-tested software. 
●Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and key-value stores ( Redis) 
●Good oral and written communication skills 
●Experience incorporating best security practices into the SDLC process.
