Compensation: ₦800,000 – ₦1,000,000 Monthly
Role Overview
Our Client is seeking a highly driven and strategic Business Development Manager to lead market entry and growth initiatives across Nigeria.
This individual will be responsible for driving adoption of the company’s secure digital vault and global ID verification solutions, with a strong focus on engaging banks, microfinance institutions, insurance firms, and other financial service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Strategy
· Develop and execute a Nigeria market entry and growth strategy
· Identify and prioritize target institutions (banks, microfinance banks, insurance, pension administrators, government agencies)
· Build a pipeline of qualified opportunities and partnerships
Business Development & Partnerships
· Lead outreach and engagement with key decision-makers (C-level, Heads of Digital, Innovation, Operations, Compliance)
· Present the company’s value proposition and tailor solutions to client needs
· Drive partnership discussions, negotiations, and deal closure
· Support pilot program design and implementation with early adopters
Stakeholder Management
· Act as the primary liaison between the company, international partners, and local stakeholders
· Maintain strong relationships with partners and clients
· Provide ongoing updates on market feedback, opportunities, and risks
Go-To-Market Execution
· Collaborate with marketing to support targeted campaigns and outreach
· Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
· Contribute to the development of local sales materials and positioning.
Key Requirements
5–10 years experience in either Business development, Sales or partnerships, FinTech, banking, or enterprise technology.
Minimum of HND or BSC.
Proven track record of closing deals with financial institutions in Nigeria
Good industry knowledge of Nigerian banking ecosystem, Microfinance institutions, Digital banking and fintech landscape and regulatory considerations (KYC, AML, compliance).
