Job Summary
Location: Lekki Lagos
Salary: ₦250,000 Monthly Net
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing based law firm located in Lekki Phase 1. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance, and financial support to management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage all accounting transactions, including inflow, petty cash payments/transactions and general book-keeping.
2. Prepare monthly budget forecasts. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and analysis.
3. Reconcile payable and receivable accounts.
4. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
5. Provide reports on the Firm’s financial health and liquidity.
6. Audit financial transactions and documents.
7. Ensure that the Firm is in compliance with necessary financial policies and regulations.
8. Maintain an up-to-date library inventory. Including information about the cost of the resources in the library.
9. Keep and monitor inventory of office supplies and stationeries.
10. In charge of procurement of office supplies and stationeries.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3-4 years proven accounting experience, preferably within a corporate or project-based environment.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
5. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
6. High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
